There is not a fixed set price for all health and safety courses. Various factors such as the difficulty level and various formats of your health and safety qualification have a direct effect on the price.
For example the NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety in the Online format is available from £470.00. Meanwhile, the NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management Professionals costs £2300.00 in the Online format. The Level 6 Diploma is more expensive based on the level it has in the health and safety industry.
The NEBOSH Level 6 National Diploma course is widely regarded as the quintessential health and safety qualification and continues to be widely desired for business and companies around the world. The NEBOSH General Certificate is recognised as the perfect predecessor to the Diploma. The NEBOSH National General Certificate introduces learners to the core fundamentals behind health and safety and how to integrate a successful health and safety management system in place. Meanwhile, the Diploma solidifies these philosophies whilst also escalating the training aimed towards supervisory or managerial staff.

In short, no. Health Safety and Environmental qualifications do not necessarily expire. Some courses have Refresher Courses (such as IOSH Managing Safely) that help solidify and update your understanding of essential health and safety standards from their respective courses. Refresher courses are not mandatory, and your original qualification will not be affected.
We recommend, where possible, to undergo Refresher Courses after three years of the original qualification to ensure that the knowledge gained is cemented and refreshed.

Entry requirements vary from course to course. If you are interested in a more foundational course such as the NEBOSH General Certificate, you will not need to worry about entry requirements. If you want to study the NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management Professionals, you must have passed the NEBOSH General Certificate before the NEBOSH Diploma. In short, as the courses become more challenging, so do the entry requirements to study them.
Different courses recommend certain standard English levels (International English Language Testing System or IELTS). Be sure to check what standard of English is recommended before enrolling in the course.
