International Account Manager – Environment and Sustainability Specialist

Opportunity to join a recognised market leader in health and safety and environment training services in a fast-growing sector.

The business has evolved significantly over the past 12 months to embrace and develop its digital offering and is looking for an experienced and proactive International Account Manager to support ambitious international growth plans with particular emphasis on promoting our suite of Environmental and Sustainability training products.

The successful candidate will be expected to target relevant senior business leaders at multinational global brands, identifying commercial opportunities and building strong account relationships.

Duties

  • Prospect for new business opportunities through cold calling, networking and utilisation of existing CRM data to achieve set activity KPIs and sales targets.
  • Effectively follow up on incoming enquiries and referrals.
  • Work with the Head of Sales to identify and target strategic accounts.
  • Produce compelling sales proposals including accurate price quotations in line with target product line GM’s.
  • Accurately record pipeline and customer data in CRM (Sage CRM).
  • Work closely with business delivery functions as customer representative to ensure contracts are fulfilled in line with expectations.
  • Assist finance department in capturing invoicing master data to support efficient invoicing and collection.
  • Liaise with Marketing team to support and promote campaigns including account-based marketing initiatives.
  • Support and participate in the Astutis social media strategy by generating a positive web presence on platforms such as Linked-in, Facebook and Twitter.
  • Develop and maintain strong product and sector specific knowledge to be able to advise customers accurately.
  • Work with wider team of Account Managers and Training Solutions Advisors to maximise revenue generation opportunities.
  • To work within the systems/procedures in place with Astutis Ltd in maintaining the ISO 9001:2015 accreditation.
  • Any other duties as requested by the Head of Sales.

Essential

  • 3+ years’ experience in similar sales-based role in the Environmental services sector
  • Strong prospecting and relationship building skills
  • Comfortable selling to senior decision makers (C-suite)
  • Experience selling internationally
  • Ability to manage end to end sales cycle
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, written and verbal
  • Competent with business IT applications (MS Teams, Word, PPT, CRM)

Desirable

  • Experience in HSE or corporate training services sector
  • Undertaken recognised sales and/or account management training
  • Environmental and sustainability qualification with a real passion for the subject

This role is not office based however, the successful candidate will be expected to attend the Cardiff office during initial training and induction period (anticipated 6 days per in first month) and on an ad-hoc basis where necessary for additional training, sales meetings and appraisals.

In order to fulfil the role properly the candidate is expected to have a safe homeworking environment, fit for purpose equipment and strong internet connection.

Health and Safety Trainer/Consultant – Virtual and Online

Astutis is seeking to recruit an energetic and enthusiastic Health and Safety consultant who can deliver training on a virtual classroom basis to our global network of NEBOSH learners.

Managing several cohorts of learners, the successful candidate must be organised and committed to the progress of our next generation of Health and Safety professionals. In addition to cohort management, course delivery and sharing advice the successful applicant will also need to get involved in:

  • Supporting our community of online learners, dealing with health and safety and learning queries, advising on practical assessments, marking mock exams and providing feedback.
  • Developing training materials (notes PPT, lesson plans etc) against syllabus and client specifications.
  • Delivering bespoke, client specific training.
  • Providing health and safety technical support to our online learning development team
  • Marking end of course tests and practical assessments.
  • Delivering health and safety consultancy projects.

Applicants must be:

  • Bright, motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Able to engage with people at all levels and to build good working relationships.
  • An experienced, competent and passionate health and safety professional.
  • An experienced training professional able to design and deliver engaging and effective learning events.
  • NEBOSH Diploma (CMIOSH) qualified – minimum requirement.
  • Level 3 AET or equivalent qualified – minimum requirement.
  • Able to demonstrate efficient time management skills with an ability to work to strict deadlines.
  • Technologically savvy and enthusiastic about the use of technology in the design and delivery of learning events
  • Prepared to work outside of the 9-5 traditional working hours on occasions to suit our global audience.
  • Prepared to travel and stay away from home to deliver classroom training should the need arise.

An ideal candidate would also:

  • Have a good range of workplace experience in a range of sectors.
  • Have an experience in online learning and working on an LMS.
  • Live within commutable distance of our Cardiff office.
  • Be fully conversant with the Microsoft office suite.

Astutis are seeking reliable and responsible individuals who wish to work on a freelance basis as NEBOSH Exam Invigilators. We are currently looking for individuals to undertake examination invigilation work in the London/South East Region to cater for our venues in:

  • Heathrow
  • London

Health and Safety Trainer / Technician


About the role

This role is a Trainer / Technician role and would suit someone who is NEBOSH General Certificate qualified with experience in delivering health and safety training. During the initial two year contract period you will deliver IOSH Working Safely and Managing Safely courses together with other shorter practical courses such as risk assessment, while studying for your NEBOSH Diploma qualification.

Upon graduation from the NEBOSH Diploma you will progress into a trainer / consultant role. 

Our consultants’ teach NEBOSH accredited training courses at our training centres and at clients’ premises in the UK and abroad. They also:

  • Develop training materials 
  • Develop and deliver bespoke, client specific training
  • Provide health and safety technical support to our online learning development team and online learners
  • Mark end of course tests and practical assessments
  • Deliver health and safety consultancy projects

 

About you 

Applicants must be:

  • Bright, motivated and enthusiastic 
  • Able to engage with people at all levels and to build good working relationships
  • NEBOSH General Certificate qualified
  • Experienced, competent health and safety trainers
  • Capable of successfully completing their NEBOSH Diploma studies
  • Willing and able to spend time ‘on the road’ as accredited training delivery often involves four or five night hotel stays

An ideal candidate would also: 

  • have an adult teaching or training qualification
  • have a good range of workplace experience in a range of sectors
  • Live within commutable distance of our Cardiff office
