Astutis Celebrates a Great Year

Astutis is celebrating a fantastic year having moved into its headquarters in Nantgarw, Cardiff on 17th February 2011 and also the development of brand new, highly acclaimed e-learning courses.

During their first year of business, Astutis has had great success and delivered bespoke training to well-known organisations including:

• DHL,
• Robert Wiseman Dairies, and 
• Welsh Water.

In addition, hundreds of delegates attended Astutis' public courses throughout the UK. 

Growing Team and Expanding Offices

In January 2012, Astutis announced that they had expanded their headquarters to incorporate a new training facility, as well as increasing their office space from 1500sq ft to 3500sq feet!

The dedicated training team at Astutis has also more than quadrupled from four to seventeen full-time members of staff, which include three experienced health & safety consultants and an in-house e-learning development team.

The team consists of eight members who worked together for many years at CHSS (later known as Connaught Compliance Training Services), including Resource Manager Diane Fisher and Operations Manager Sian Thomas.

The management team has over 50 years combined experience in managing the delivery of thousands of courses to hundreds of thousands of delegates.

New Courses & Online learning Options

As well as creating the brand new IOSH Managing Safely in Aviation and other classroom courses; the Astutis team have developed and launched highly acclaimed online courses such as IOSH Working Safely and IOSH Managing Safely.  The NEBOSH National General Certificate is also available in online format. All courses have been highly praised by attendees and many new bookings have arrived through recommendation. 

Whilst 2011 was a fantastic year for Astutis, 2012 has started very well. Managing Director Steve Terry said:
