Try the Free Astutis Fire Evacuation Module for Health and Safety Professionals

June 2024

Our learners have fed back about how much they have enjoyed the scenarios in other courses, and we’ve heard them. We are excited to announce the launch of our new interactive fire evacuation scenario, designed specifically for occupational health and safety professionals and anyone else responsible for fire evacuation procedures.

What is the Astutis Fire Evacuation Simulator?

This innovative online scenario brings a dynamic, hands-on approach to fire safety training. It allows users to engage with a real-life scenario and make critical decisions at various stages of the evacuation. Users will encounter common problems during fire evacuations and will be asked to solve them as they go along. From vulnerable employees to jammed doors, the simulator will prepare you for every possibility.

  • Practical Application: Users can navigate through a fire evacuation scenario and will be presented unique challenges. These challenges are prevalent in most workplace environments, so employees will gain valuable knowledge they can apply to their sector.
  • Immediate Feedback: Learners receive immediate feedback on their incorrect decisions and how they will impact the rest of the fire evacuation. This instant response helps users understand the impact of their choices, highlighting potential risks and improving their ability to make safer decisions during an actual evacuation.

Benefits of the Interactive Fire Evacuation Simulator

Learners stand to gain a lot from more interactive health and safety courses. We have pioneered and perfected our online courses to ensure:

  • Enhanced Engagement: By placing users in the driver’s seat with interactive elements and scenarios our courses encourage active participation and high levels of engagement. This method has been shown to improve knowledge retention and application in real-world situations.
  • Improved Decision-Making Skills: The scenario-based approach helps users develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Participants learn to evaluate risks, prioritise actions, and make informed decisions quickly and effectively.

Experience the interactive fire simulator first-hand below.

If you’re interested in learning more, this simulator is just a taste of what’s in our newly available NEBOSH Fire Certificate course. Equip yourself with the skills and confidence needed to manage fire emergencies effectively and ensure the protection of your workplace from fire-related risks.
