Employee Appreciation Day 2024: Congratulating John Ellis on His Retirement
At Astutis, we have never underestimated the importance of the human ‘thank you’. For 2024, on March 1, it is Employee Appreciation Day. It’s a time to show appreciation for the value that employees bring to the workplace, and we couldn’t be any more grateful for the culture we have here.
To mark this occasion, we would like to take a special moment to acknowledge and congratulate John Ellis, Astutis Sales Account Manager, on his well-deserved retirement this week.
We extend our genuine and heartfelt appreciation to John for his hard work and comedic timing that have kept people smiling throughout his time here – and we’d also like to wish him a long, happy, and healthy retirement.
Famous for his sharp wit and unhurried typing speed - John’s dedication to his customers, co-workers and role has been nothing short of instrumental in the success of Astutis, and we cannot thank him enough for his efforts.
John’s co-workers and clients turned out to show their appreciation for him, and shared their well wishes for his retirement:
“John has been a stalwart in the Astutis sales team since he joined the company 10 years ago. Aside from his good nature, cheesy jokes and formidable sales patter, John has contributed an astonishing amount of sales bookings to the business in that time. He has done a fantastic job and deserves to put his feet up in a healthy and happy retirement.”
Steve Terry, Managing Director, Astutis
“John has been a central member of the Astutis sales team for over 10 years helping to grow the business to where it is today, over this time he has provided advice and guidance to 1000’s of learners and clients to support them with HSE training. He can always be relied on for some positive words of wisdom (as long as Cardiff City won on the weekend) and we will all miss his renowned IT skills. Wishing him the best for a long and happy retirement.”
Joseph Large, Head of Sales, Astutis
“Your expertise, unwavering work ethic, and positive attitude have set a standard that will be remembered long after your departure. I'll also miss your amazing sense of humour - where will I get my jokes from now?”
Ruth Williams, Head of Marketing, Astutis
“What a career. You have assisted so many learners and played a part in their development (myself included!). A job well done. All good wishes for a long and happy retirement John, you deserve it.”
Helen Williams, Health & Safety Professional, Astutis Learner
“Oh John, can not quite believe that you are going. I thought you would be with Astutis forever. Wishing you all the best in your retirement! Everyone will miss you greatly.”
