Astutis Launches Multi-Currency eCommerce Function to Support International Learners

December 2022

Multi-Currency is finally here!

At Astutis, our goal has always been to make it as easy as possible for customers across the globe to have access to HSE training. In December 2022, this goal became a reality as Astutis launched one of the most advanced features in eCommerce, the option for customers to choose a relevant currency for their payment.

This new and highly anticipated feature allows customers to choose their HSE products on the online store in five different currencies. To ensure the customer has access to the best exchange rates, Astutis works in partnership with the UK’s HRMC, where their exchange rates are updated every month.

Truly Multi-Currency

Commenting on the launch of the multi-currency feature, Ruth Williams, Head of Marketing and eCommerce, said: "At the heart of our business is the drive to enhance customer experience. We want to accommodate our customer's needs, and part of that includes not making our global customers calculate the course price themselves. In addition, we want to stop our customers from facing any additional conversion fees that their credit card vendors may charge them. Therefore, our multi-currency strategy ensures that our pricing is entirely transparent.

Here’s a quick overview of how it works:

  1. Choose a new currency by clicking the currency button in the eCommerce website navigation menu.
  2. From your currencies list, go to the currency and select your preferred currency.
  3. All pricing across the eCommerce websites converts to the new currency.
  4. Complete your transaction with VAT applied to only the VAT-applicable countries.

The multi-currency feature is now live on www.astutis.com. Feel free to try it and let us know your suggestions and experiences. We will be happy to improve this feature further based on your feedback.
