Astutis CDM course and the ICS
The Astutis CDM Co-ordinator course has been accepted by The Institution of Construction Safety as meeting the approved criteria for membership of the Institution.
Why become a member of ICS?
An ICS Member will have been assessed as being competent to perform the role and carry out the duties of a CDM Co-ordinator and their name will be included in the ICS register of competent CDM-Cs. The Register is referred to in the Approved Code of Practice and is an accreditation that can be used by a Member in their marketing material, and when responding to tender enquiries.
What does the Astutis CDM Co-ordinator course offer?
The Astutis CDM Co-ordinator course is a 2 day classroom based course, focusing on the roles and responsibilities of the CDM co-ordinator, as required by the CDM Regulations 2007. Once the course is completed and the end of course exam has been passed, there are other qualifications and experience required for ICS membership, details of which can be found on the ICS website.
