Health & Safety Week 2014
The long term benefits of effective health & safety in the workplace will be recognised this week. On the first day of the Health & Safety Expo on Tuesday 17 June at 10am Judith Hackett CBE, Chair of the HSE will launch the achievements in the UK's health & safety record: the 85% reduction in fatal accidents since the introduction of the Health and Safety at Work Act in 1974 to promote a positive image of this invaluable profession.
