Astutis Introduces Klarna to Make Workplace Training More Accessible Than Ever

July 2025

We are excited to announce the introduction of Klarna as a new payment option for our online, virtual and classroom courses. As a part of our mission to create safer and more sustainable workplaces for all, we hope to make workplace training more accessible to professionals and businesses across the globe.

Klarna is one of Europe’s most popular flexible payment providers, allowing customers to split their course payments into manageable instalments, interest-free and with no hidden fees. With the rising demand for upskilling and professional development, we recognise the importance of removing financial barriers to training, especially for individuals funding their own learning.

Steve Terry, Managing Director at Astutis, had this to say on the initiative.

“We’re always looking for ways to support our learners, and offering Klarna is a natural next step. We understand that cost can be a major hurdle for many people looking to invest in their career. By offering Klarna, we’re giving learners more control over how and when they pay – without compromising on the quality of their training.”

Which Products Are Available Through Klarna?

The new Klarna option is now available at checkout for a range of Astutis’ most in-demand virtual, online and classroom courses, including the NEBOSH National General Certificate, IOSH Managing Safely, and IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management. Eligible customers can now choose to pay in 30 days or split their payments into three monthly instalments, helping them spread the cost over time while accessing courses straight away.

This initiative also reflects a broader trend in the education sector, where learners increasingly expect flexible, digital-first experiences – not only in course content but also in how they pay. By partnering with Klarna, Astutis aligns itself with modern payment expectations, improving user experience without adding complexity.

Astutis' courses continue to be trusted by thousands of learners and organisations around the world, with training delivered by industry experts and supported by a robust, learner-focused online platform. Now, with Klarna available, individuals can make the choice to invest in their safety and career progression with greater financial ease.
