Astutis Introduce Online NEBOSH Health and Safety at Work Award
Astutis are delighted to add another learning format for the NEBOSH Health and Safety at Work Award. From 07 July 2022, learners can study the course with Astutis online.
Astutis Technical Director Brenig Moore said regarding the announcement;
"I am delighted for our learners. Expanding learner flexibility with the addition of the online format to our library allows more learners to take up training on their terms when and where they desire. Health, safety and environmental training should be accessible to all; bringing the NEBOSH Health and Safety Award to our online learners helps achieve that".
The NEBOSH Award in Health and Safety at Work is engineered to gift a foundational understanding of workplace health and safety. The training provides a toolkit to ensure compliance and confidence when faced with risks, hazards and adversity.
The course comprises two central units covering critical health and safety responsibilities and fundamental control measures to preserve a safe working environment. Learners gain knowledge and practical skills that enable:
1. The understanding of why health and safety need to be managed, ensuring effective processes are in place
2. The ability to inspect the workplace, recognise hazards, evaluate risk and recommend control measures
3. The understanding of why accidents happen and how to investigate them.
