New Partnership With Energy Institute
Astutis is pleased to announce a new partnership with Energy Institute (EI), the global professional body for the energy sector, to provide its members with accredited NEBOSH and IOSH training.
The Energy Institute is a professional body that provides learning and networking opportunities to support professional development and recognition its 23,000 individual members and 250 companies.
People in the energy industry face the constant challenge of managing complex, inherent risks. High profile incidents that have hit headlines over the years will undoubtedly spring to mind demonstrating the need to mitigate risk and manage hazards effectively.
Members of the Energy Institute who choose to gain the widely recognised NEBOSH and IOSH qualifications will be able to extend their knowledge and skills to allow them to effectively manage the health and safety of themselves and others in this high-risk sector, as well as develop their career path.
Notable research carried out NEBOSH revealed that “80% of people who take a NEBOSH Certificate level qualification are employed in roles whose primary function is not health and safety”, for example operational managers.
EI members who book a NEBOSH General Certificate, NEBOSH Oil & Gas Certificate or IOSH Managing Safely course will also be entitled to additional course revision guides to enhance their learning and success rate.
“The Energy Institute promotes the continuous development of knowledge, skills and good practice across the energy sector. As part of this we provide the highest quality safety-related training and good practice publications. This partnership with Astutis will allow our Members and clients to access NEBOSH & IOSH courses as a partner committed to high training standards.
Louise Kingham OBE FEI, Cheif Executive of Energy Institute commented:
"The range of flexible learning methods, locations and professional qualifications that this partnership provides will help the energy community continue to work towards improving the health, safety and environmental good practice."
