Your Guide to Sitting your NEBOSH Diploma with Astutis
The NEBOSH Diploma is an advanced qualification for health and safety professionals around the globe. It's assessment process is designed to test your technical knowledge and practical skills to ensure you can competently manage health and safety at a strategic level.
NEBOSH updated the syllabus and assessment structure for the NEBOSH Diploma in April 2021. The latest version is assessed entirely through workplace activities and online case studies, while the previous syllabus is assessed through written exams and a workplace assignment.

NEBOSH Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Professionals (2019 Syllabus)
The NEBOSH Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Professionals (2019 syllabus) is assessed with 1 workplace assignment and 2 case study assessments.
You’ll be given a 4-6 window to complete your assessment and submit them to the NEBOSH online portal. Assessments can be taken 3 times a year.

NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (2015 Syllabus)
The NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (2015 syllabus) is assessed with 3 written exams and 1 workplace assignment.
Written exams are 3-hours long and can be taken twice a year in January or July. Your workplace assignment can be submitted 4 times a year in February, May, August or September.
You have until July 2026 to complete all 4 exams for the NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
