The IOSH Managing Safely Refresher is open to anyone who has previously completed a full IOSH Managing Safely course.
It does not require any other prior qualifications or prerequisites.

Module 2
Leadership
Identifying the core attributes and principles required to be an effective and safe leader in the workplace.
Module 3
Plan
Examines how to successfully implement the 'plan' stage in the 'Plan-Do-Check-Act' model.
Module 4
Do
Examines how to successfully implement the 'do' stage in the 'Plan-Do-Check-Act' model.
Module 5
Check
Examines how to successfully implement the 'check' stage in the 'Plan-Do-Check-Act' model.
Module 6
Act
Examines how to correctly implement the final 'act' stage in the 'Plan-Do-Check-Act' system.
You will complete a short multiple choice test, taken at the end of the course.
You will have 30 minutes to answer 21 questions in a variety of formats, including multiple choice, true/false and open questions with short answers.
IOSH recommends completing the IOSH Managing Safely Refresher every 3 years. You will be able to refresh your understanding of the key areas of the IOSH Managing Safely, such as the Plan-Do-Check-Act model and how to effectively implement this model back into the workplace. You will also be able to build on your existing skills and capabilities.
Learners taking the IOSH Managing Safely Refresher will need to sit a short multiple choice test, consisting of 21 questions, which will need to be completed within thirty minutes.
