We are pleased to announce the arrival of more new members to the Astutis team over recent months. Bringing strength and depth (to coin a sporting phrase) to both the UK and International divisions, we are delighted to welcome on board:
Josef Siewruk, Digital Marketing Manager:
Jo moves from a client-side role at Searchsmith who have supported Astutis with their SEO campaigns over the years. Jo has considerable experience in digital marketing and web builds having worked previously with Intergage, who are also responsible for building and hosting both our new international site as well as our UK site. Having worked with Astutis for years, it doesn’t feel like Jo is ‘new’ to the team, but his focus on digital marketing will indeed be welcomed as the organisation continues to grow.
Hannah Lerwill, NEBOSH Course Advisor, UK:
With a BSc Hons in Sports Studies gained at the University of Glamorgan, Hannah previously promoted sports development and health and wellbeing courses to primary schools as well as organising sports camps for youngsters across South Wales. Being a fluent Welsh speaker, Hannah has also conducted voluntary work with “URDD Gobaith Cymru” (a Welsh speaking scheme that organises events for youngsters in Wales). Hannah joins us from Skills Wales, a training centre in Swansea. In her role as course advisor at Astutis, Hannah will be dealing with delegates across London and the South East at our Heathrow, Southampton and Brighton venues. Hannah is a Welsh International Women’s Rugby Player at outside half and is a force to be reckoned with on the pitch!
Andrew Froude, Consultant and Trainer:
Andrew is a highly qualified Health and Safety consultant with considerable experience in delivering IOSH and NEBOSH accredited as well as non-accredited courses. Gaining professional experience in the metals recycling industry, Andrew adds a new dimension to the knowledge we have in-house. Since joining Astutis on September 1st, Andrew has been ‘in at the deep end’ leading a Diploma week 3 course and delivering various company-specific courses for Welsh Water (Risk Assessment, Management of Contractors, Incident Investigation, Managing Safely Refresher). No rest for the wicked…or so they say!
Safaa Ahmed, International Course Advisor:
Being fluent in English, Arabic and Farsi, Safaa brings a new dimension to the International team. Having moved to the UK from Saudi Arabia 5 years ago to embark on her studies, Saafa joins Astutis from Toyota/Lexus where she worked in client relationship services. Completing both a HND in Business and Marketing and a BA in Business and Management, Saafa has just finished her PGCE will be embarking on a Masters in Education next week. Safaa joins our Operations Director, Bren, in her thirst for knowledge and I am sure she will be an asset not only to the international team where she will be focussing on helping people in the Middle East - specifically UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Iraq and Iran - with their training needs, but also the learning development teams with her specific skill-set.
Steve Terry, Managing Director at Astutis commented:
"I am delighted that we continue to attract such high calibre employees to Astutis. I am sure that Andrew, Hannah, Josef and Safaa will add to the enthusiasm and vibrancy that we already have in the office and will utilise their range of skills to ensure positive client experiences in their respective areas. The rest of Team Astutis join me in welcoming them on board."
