The NEBOSH Health and Safety at Work Award is aimed at those needing to understand the principles of health & safety as part of their role including:

Course Facts

Course Length: 3 day course.
Number of Course Units: 2
Assessment Method: Multiple choice test paper and 1 hour practical workplace risk assessment.
Qualification Equivalent: “broadly comparable” to a vocationally related qualification (VRQ) at level 2 in the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) (comparable to GCSE standard).

What Are the 2 Units?

Unit 1: ‘Workplace Safety Foundations’
Unit 2: ‘Workplace Risk Assessment Activity’

Candidates need to successfully complete both units within a two year period to obtain the overall qualification.
