Qualification

Delegates who successfully complete the assessments will be awarded a Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health. Holders of the Diploma will be entitled to use the designatory letters ‘DipNEBOSH’ after their names.

Successful delegates will be eligible to apply to join the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) at a graduate level, depending on experience.

Further information

There is one written assignment and one exam per unit.
Delegates will need to have successfully completed one of the following:

• NEBOSH National General Certificate (post-2003)*
• NEBOSH National Construction Certificate (post-2004)*
• TUC Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health (minimum of 16 credits at level 3)
• Level 3 N/SVQ in Health and Safety in the Workplace.

*Students who obtained their awards prior to these dates may still enter as long as they can demonstrate professional development.
