What You Can Expect When You Have a NEBOSH Certificate?
Successfully passing the NEBOSH Certificate means you can:
- Apply for Technician Membership (Tech IOSH) of IOSH.
- Apply for Associate Membership of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) using AIIRSM after your name.
- Gain the NEBOSH National General Certificate qualification, which is recognised around the world.
How long will the NEBOSH National General Certificate take?
The course takes 10 days plus one exam day.

- Chemical and Biological Health Hazards and Risk Controls
- Physical and psychological Health Hazards and Risk Controls
Unit 3 Health and Safety Practical Application
Within two weeks of the written exam date, you need to complete a work based practical assessment.
