Lee is a proactive Health and Safety Practitioner and Consultant with an extensive knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation and statutory standards. He is an experienced NEBOSH and IOSH trainer.
Lee began his Health and Safety career at Northwest Construction UK as the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager, acting as the sole competent person regarding the planning, organising, control, monitoring and review of the organisation’s health and safety arrangements. He has considerable experience of developing, improving and maintaining health and safety management systems.His role saw him overseeing both new build work and demolition work for major clients including Wirral Borough Council, Flintshire County Council and Liverpool 20/20 and maintenance and refurbishment contracts with clients such as Merseyside Police, NHS and E-on.
Lee is an enthusiastic, highly qualified approved health and safety trainer for recognised industry
qualifications including all IOSH, NEBOSH, CIEH and CITB courses, with experience in delivering courses to first time learners through to chartered members. He has delivered many bespoke courses including Working at Height, Manual Handling, Risk Assessment Writing and Fire Marshall Courses to all levels of staff at large organisations including British Gas, National Grid, Royal Mail, Northern Rail and the Environment Agency. Lee regularly works with both small and large companies to develop new training materials in line with the latest legislation and their organisational strategy.
Lee’s consultancy portfolio includes performing workplace inspections, fire risk assessments, policy writing and auditing of existing health and safety management systems to many organisations including Burnley City Council, M2 Digital Birmingham NEC and Johnsons Apparelmaster. His depth of knowledge of current
legislation and ability to provide advice, guidance and appropriate assistance to all levels of staff, including senior management, allows Lee to provide innovative solutions to operational problems whilst promoting a strategic overview.
