Health & Safety Engineer Career Profile

Role

The Health & Safety Engineer is responsible for giving advice on operations, accident prevention and training. Other duties include developing and improving health & safety procedures, accident/ incident investigation and undertaking risk assessments.

Health & Safety Engineers commonly work in large manufacturing companies and the role may involve manual handling, fire safety or managing asbestos.

Typical Salary Range

£28-38k p.a.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Degree.
Good team player.
Excellent analytical skills.
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Level 6 qualification.
Applicants will also ideally be working towards Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH).
