Professional Background

Diane has worked as a health and safety trainer since 2002. She has a proven track record in the development and delivery of IOSH, NEBOSH and Manual Handling courses having worked closely with individual delegates and companies to ensure their corporate training objectives are met. She has experience of working with organisations across a wide range of industry sectors including Aviation, Engineering, Heath Care, Manufacturing, Retail and Utilities.

Diane commenced her career as a Physiotherapist, becoming a Manual Handling Adviser in both acute and community hospital trusts. After gaining the NEBOSH Diploma, she became the Health and Safety Adviser/Manual Handling Adviser in an acute hospital Trust, where she was responsible for ensuring the trust was compliant with the Department of Health’s Control Assurance Health and Safety Management standards. Her role included advising the Director with responsibility for health and safety of its overall management in accordance with health and safety legislation and guidance, writing and revision of a range of health and safety policies, planning, developing and delivery of staff training at all levels.

Diane is also a NEBOSH Examiner and has delivered IOSH and NEBOSH accredited courses, with consistently excellent feedback and results. Diane also has considerable experience in the provision of manual handling training and consultancy to organisations in both the public and private sectors, where her extensive specialist knowledge and professional background allows her to address client and delegate requirements effectively.
