It is the responsibility of a Health & Safety Consultant to assist organisations in addressing health & safety matters which may potentially affect customers, employees and the public. The majority of the role consists of examining the workplace, predicting hazards and carrying out inspections. Consultants are hired by a variety of organisations, government agencies and consulting firms and workplaces can typically include construction sites and factories.
As well as health & safety other areas of specialism for working as a Consultant include construction safety, food safety, fire safety, management system auditing and safety training.
Circa £25,000 - £60,000 p.a. depending on experience
