Construction Design and Management (CDM) Coordinator Career Profile

Role

It is the role of CDM (Construction Design and Management) Coordinator to provide advice on health & safety matters in construction. As part of the CDM Regulations (2007) it is required that a CDM Coordinator is appointed to construction projects after initial design or preparation has begun.

Typical Salary Range

Circa £22-55k p.a.

Duties Include

To contact the HSE regarding new projects.
Manage health & safety aspects of design work to ensure CDM regulations are being upheld.
Aid communication between the organisation/ client, designers and contractors.
Responsible for updating health & safety paperwork.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Degree in Engineering or Construction.
Experience of building surveying.
NEBOSH General Certificate/ NEBOSH Certificate in Construction Health & Safety.
