Investing in the Future of E-learning

 Sep 2013

Astutis_Smart_Choice_BeastWith 130 videos and animations and 205 digital documents spanning 10 courses, the e-learning development and multimedia team at Astutis have been a bit busy over the last two and a half years - creating a total of 1,536 hours of learning which have been accessed by over 1,500 learners so far!

Well, that’s a lot of figures and as if that wasn’t enough, over 17,000 man (and woman) hours have been invested in the creation of our market-leading courses coupled with a financial investment of over a quarter of a Million pounds!

The staffing and development of our full suite of NEBOSH and IOSH accredited courses has been bolstered by a further £50,000 on leading hardware and software to support the process and delivery of these courses.

From our award winning cloud-based Learning Management System Absorb, our Astutis Resources Area where learners can interact with each other and a tutor, Adobe Connect for the delivery of our webinars to the Asset Management System we have invested in to store all of this hard work, Astutis certainly hasn’t been ‘resting on its laurels’ in the e-learning department.

Helen Hodges, learning designer at Astutis said:

We are keen to be ahead of the game at Astutis and have invested time and effort in creating the best possible learning solutions for the growing number of people who are unable to commit to a classroom-based course. We are keen that our learners should experience the benefits of being in a simulated classroom environment and have gone to painstaking lengths to ensure that anyone signing up to an Astutis e-learning course will be guided and have support along the way.
